The Support Programme’s governance and management
structures were carefully coordinated with EPWP structures so as to
avoid duplication and confusion.
Partnership Committee
The Partnership Committee provided oversight and
direction to the Support Programme and comprised high-level
participation from both Business and Government. It met at least twice
per year and was chaired by a private sector representative.
Executive Committee Meetings
During the five years the Support Programme had
oversight committees that ensured coordination between the EPWP and
the Support Programme. The committees comprised high-level
management participation of the DPW, the Business Trust and the
Support Programme.
Management and Staffing
The Support Programme was managed by Shisaka on
behalf of the Business Trust.
A Core Team was responsible for the overall
management of the Support Programme and included staff and associates
and an extended list of service providers.
Monitoring and Evaluation
The Support Programme reported quarterly to the
Business Trust and DPW.
An evaluation of the programme was undertaken by an
Independent Evaluator on a bi-annual basis.
